Male inability to cause pregnancy in a fertile female. 40-50% of infertility is due to male infertility. Male infertility may be due to deficiencies in semen or semen quality, low sperm count reffered as oligospermia or no sperm at all reffered as Azospermia.
ٰUsually people come to know this defect when after marriage there is no pregnancy. Usually female is considered to be infertile and she is exposed to examination and tests. Then only male get tested and found to be infertile. Oligospermia or azospermia can be the major cause. This can occur after mumps metastasis to testes, testiculat injury, testicular inflammatory diseases, alcoholor drug addiction or family history of different diseases.
